The RSPCA North Wilts is looking to appoint a reliable and conscientious Warehouse Logistics Operative to assist our warehouse operations in Blagrove, Swindon.

Reporting to our Warehouse Manager, this is a varied role which will involve van delivery duties in addition to supporting warehouse internal operations.

Anticipated working hours will be for a minimum 2 days per week with the flexibility to work additional hours as required.

• In conjunction with the Warehouse Manager, plan and organise the warehouse in a timely and safe manner.
• Ensures the movement of stock between shops is prioritised and actioned on time.
• To work closely with the Warehouse Manager to identify and develop opportunities to increase donations of high quality merchandise for the stores.
• Organise the removal of large/non saleable items from the shops and dispose of at a local refuse site.
• House clearances
• Ensures the highest levels of customer service, productivity and efficiency at all stages of collection and delivery of stock.
• Prepare and complete all daily/weekly administration to the highest standard, accurately and on time, always adhering to Company Policies and Procedures.
• Ensures all Security, Health and Safety policies and procedures are adhered to in order to comply with a safe and secure environment for all.
• Other related Warehouse Housekeeping duties as required.
• Collections and Deliveries in and around our 10 branches.

• Hold a full valid driver's licence, with experience of driving long wheelbase, Transit and Luton vans. FLT Licence would also be desirable.
• Have good people skills as you'll be working with the public and members of store members on a regular basis.
• Ability to communicate efficiently with staff and customers.
• Be reliable and flexible.
• Be able to work as part of a team as well as working under their own initiative.
• Be able to physically carry and lift large and heavy items of furniture.
