My client, based in Stalybridge, requires Packing operations for a world leading development company.


As a Packing Operative, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient packaging and shipment of our high-quality goods ready to be despatched to our customers throughout the UK.

Your attention to detail, precision, and commitment to quality will contribute to their reputation as an industry leader.


Responsibilities:


  • Safely and accurately package products according to established guidelines and procedures.
  • Prepare orders for shipment, ensuring correct labelling and documentation.
  • Inspect finished goods for quality control purposes, identifying and reporting any defects or discrepancies.
  • Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
  • Collaborate with other team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
  • Assist with inventory management, including counting and restocking supplies as needed.
  • Follow standard operating procedures to ensure consistent and efficient packing processes.

Requirements:


  • Previous experience in packing, assembly line work, or a similar role is preferred but not essential.
  • Attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a fastpaced environment.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to follow instructions.
  • Basic computer skills for data entry and inventory management.
  • Physical stamina to perform repetitive tasks and lift moderately heavy objects.

Salary:
£10.42 per hour

Expected hours: 38.5 per week
