We have a fantastic opportunity for a Trainee Payments Officer on-site in Mayfair, London to join our busy Payments team.

Hours - 8.30am to 5.30pm Mon to Thurs, 8.30am to 5pm Fri


Duties

  • Efficiently obtain and manage Global Payments Innovation (GPI) trackers, ensuring accurate and uptodate records of payment transactions.
  • Inquiry Handling
  • Identify and escalate complex issues or queries to the Deputy Head of Payments for resolution, ensuring a timely and effective response to critical matters.
  • Field incoming calls
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure a cohesive and supportive working environment.
  • Liaise with other departments as necessary to facilitate effective communication and problem resolution.
  • Adaptable Support: Provide flexible support to the payments team as needed, participating in additional tasks or projects that contribute to the overall success of the team and the organisation.

What we look for

  • Previous experience in a customerfacing role or a demonstrated commitment to providing exceptional customer service is essential for this role.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and a willingness to pursue relevant certifications or training.
  • Good level of Microsoft Excel
  • Proficient at establishing credibility quickly and building relationships with a range of stakeholders.
  • Possess excellent analytical skills, with the ability to think independently and problem solve
