**Role - Building Services Design Engineer
Salary - £35,000 - £58,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
Type - Permanent

Location - Dartford, Kent**My client works within building services and are looking to take on an intermediate to senior level Building Services Design Engineer with experience in mechanical or electrical on a permanent basis in Dartford, Kent.


The building services Design Engineer will ideally have the following attributes:


  • Degree qualified in mechanical, electrical, building services engineering or equivalent qualification
  • At least 35 years' relevant experience in Building services mechanical engineering
  • Excellent knowledge and proficiency with AutoCAD and Microsoft office
  • Working knowledge of UK mechanical design standards
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Have excellent communication skills both verbal and written English
  • A team player committed to adding value

The building services Design Engineer role will involve:

  • Provide mechanical building engineering services design
  • Produce schematics, elevations, details in AutoCAD which meet engineering directives, UK engineering standards and CDM regulations
  • Maintain a working knowledge of appropriate engineering and industry standards
  • Maintain and develop existing client relationships
  • Produce and check engineering calculations as required
  • Produce budgets for clients based on their specifications and monitor spend to ensure that projects are delivered within their budgets and time scale
  • To produce engineering designs and associated engineering documents (such as drawings, calculations, reports) and ensure they are completed within the required timescales.
