Job description:


Reporting to the Talent Lead, the Talent Advisor role plays a key role in developing and delivering a range of priority projects across the organisation.

These programmes are key to supporting UKHSA's People Strategy to bring in new insights and increase representation into UKHSA.


We are looking for someone who has a passion and understanding of talent, who can support delivery of projects which drive culture change and who ensures that wherever we work, we add value and engender the spirit of the organisations inclusive values.


You will work collaboratively with the staff networks and their network chairs, engendering and championing organisational values, as an integral and essential part of the working lives of all UKHSA staff.

To engage our staff and share expertise, you will support the delivery of interactive sessions across the organisation.

A key success measure will be the levels of engagement achieved and the impact at a local level, gathered through evaluation and continuous improvement.


You will network with colleagues within UKHSA and across the government, to bring new and innovative interventions and ideas into the team.


You will align outcomes from your work with organisational needs, working with colleagues across Culture, Talent and Capability and the wider People Group to drive a culture of high quality, efficiency and excellence.

Location


The UK Health Security Agency (UKHSA) offers hybrid working - this means that whilst the role will be based in one of our 4 offices in Birmingham, Leeds, London - Canary Wharf or Liverpool, there will be opportunities to work from home.

The number of days in the office will be agreed on an individual basis by your line manager.

  • Please be aware that this role can only be worked from within the UK and not overseas. Relocation expenses are not available_

Main Duties:


  • To work and support the staff networks for protected characteristic groups, working closely with Internal and External Communication colleagues. This will include, supporting campaigns, supporting networks with campaigns/events and identifying opportunities to be innovate and engage staff using different channels.
  • To work with others in People Directorate and across UKHSA to identify the changes, competences and behaviours required to achieve complex cultural objectives, creating a vision that requires the input and support of all within the organisation.
  • Working with the staff networks and network chairs to embed the agenda across UKHSA sites and identifying mechanisms to retain momentum, such as supporting network chairs with the development of their action plans aligned to organisations strategy.
  • Support the Talent Lead with the administration and evaluation of wider Civil Service Talent Schemes, Senior Leader Scheme / Future Leaders Scheme / Beyond the Boundaries
