Aufgaben:

Management of the Optimise whole life performance of MEP systems considering both embodied & operational impacts
Ensure that Carbon & resourceefficiency considerations in tender documentation and supplier contracts & liaison is managed.
Manage a Maximised energy efficiency specified for HVAC & lighting equipment
Manage a Minimised risk of refrigerant leakage to be specified for any relevant HVAC equipment
Manage a Considerations on optimising material quantities & product embodied carbon incl. packaging, durability
Manage a Minimised temporary MEP kit: installing permanent at the outset, where applicable to avoid temporary equipment and its stripping off
Manage a Streamlined quantities & specifications of materials, products and/or equipment: minimised quantities via detailed design/sizing & challenging of overspecification, where relevant, alternative systems/products/materials with lower embodied carbon, leaner auxiliary/support items e.g. bracketry required, integration with structural design, etc.
Manage a Modular systems with offsite assembly: to facilitate site logistics incl. transport, installation & testing
Manage the Whole life assessment of MEP systems considering tradeoffs between increased durability with less maintenance & replacements vs. any impact on capital cost in carbon, resources used and money

Qualifikationen:

Environmental advisory experience in the environment and construction industry, ideally projects in rail, highways or tunneling.
Degree or equivalent in Environmental Sciences or suitably applicable fields. Associate or Practitioner Member of the Institute of Environmental Management and Assessment (IEMA) or equivalent and internal auditing experience ideally.
Good organisation and time management skills, able to work independently and off their own initiative. Confident speaker with experience preparing and delivering presentations.
Demonstrates a passion for the Environment and Sustainability, driving innovation and a desire to positively influence and develop those around them
