The Disability Assessor position in Croydon offers a salary of between £35,000 to £38,000 + £3600 performance bonus (£900 every three months).


We are currently seeking Disability Assessors to join the remote teams of one of the UK's largest healthcare providers in Croydon.

As a Disability Assessor, you will have the opportunity to change lives by providing support to those who need it, while enjoying a fulfilling career.

Your primary responsibility as a Disability Assessor will be to conduct assessments with patients, evaluating their mobility, abilities, and level of activity through a combination of phone, video, or face-to-face consultations.

You will also create reports, including supporting documents from GPs, hospitals, etc., to be sent to the DFC, aiding in their decision-making process for those who require Personal Independence Payment.

The position offers the flexibility to work from home within standard office hours, providing an ideal work-life balance.


Requirements:


  • 1year postregistration experience as a Nurse, Doctor, Occupational Therapist, Physiotherapist, or Paramedic.
  • Valid NMC, HCPC, or GMC registration.
  • Microsoft Office skills.

Training and Benefits


You will receive 8 weeks of full-pay training, followed by a 12-week period where you will be paired with a "buddy" to provide additional support.

You will receive a performance bonus of £3600, paid in £900 increments every three months. You will no longer be required to work weekends, evenings, or bank holidays. Additionally, a mobile phone and laptop will be provided to you. You will have 23 days of holiday, plus 8 bank holidays, with the opportunity to purchase additional leave.
