Description
This role would be ideal for an individual who wants to further develop their strategic procurement skill set. Building on the good level of procurement experience they have built so far most likely as a buyer/senior buyer.


Responsibilities:


  • Lead on materials strategic procurement and category development.
  • Engage with supplier base (locally and globally)
  • Lead on supplier sourcing, selection and negotiations
  • Market analysis and spend breakdown to help mould the procurement strategy.
  • Deliver value and cost savings
  • Provide internal reports and data.
  • Stakeholder management across multiple departments.

Experience required:


  • Proven procurement experience with manufacturing/engineering/product environments.
  • Strategic and commercial procurement mindset
  • Experience of market/spend analysis and benchmarking.
  • Experience managing end to end procurement processes.
  • Strong holder management
  • Autonomous and proactive style

Job Types:
Full-time, Permanent


Salary:
Up to £45,000.00 per year
