To develop, manage and grow the Bank's existing Mortgage Lending relationships, ensuring increased business activity, volumes, and profitability from such relationships.

To market the Bank's mortgage products to our target market clients and professional introducers.

Description
To market the Bank's mortgage products to our target market clients and professional introducers.

  • To develop remunerative business from structuring deals, analysing risks, preparing, and presenting credit proposals to EDBD/Credit Committee, and liaising with others to ensure a seamless placement of property business on the Bank's books.
  • To manage assigned mortgage portfolio whilst developing new mortgage relationships with the view of growing the mortgage book and revenue figures.
  • To conduct effective KYC/KYB screening to ascertain risk profiles and review due diligence documentation to assist with client on boarding and retention.
  • To recommend for approval, all KYC/KYB documentation in respect of all Mortgage & Lending relationships.
  • To conduct timely and effective Transaction Monitoring and Testing reviews, investigating all unusual activity in accordance with AML regulations to mitigate Financial Crime impact.

Profile

  • Will have relevant and extensive experience in Banking/Financial Services in a Lending role
  • Should have experience and track record of the African Market, especially in Nigeria
  • Must have knowledge of UK Banking and Regulatory experience (Desirable)
  • Good credit /underwriting skills
  • Ability to interpret financial for lending purposes
  • Good presentation skills and an ability to report to and manage senior stakeholder's
