Classroom Support are excited to be working with a mainstream primary school in the Addlestone area.


We are recruiting on their behalf for a Learning Support Assistant to support their KS1 & KS2 pupils who exhibit challenging behaviour and have may have diagnoses of ASD & ADHD.


The school in question has fantastic support mechanisms and facilities for their staff, a wonderful and rewarding environment of which is reflected in their Ofsted results.


There is a highly competitive rate of pay which is £85-£90 per day for this Learning Support Assistant role, the working hours are 8.30am-3.30pm.

Working days are Monday-Friday term time only.


Requirements of the Learning Support Assistant role are:

Support the child mainly on a 1:1 basis and occasionally on in small groups

Using your experience of effective behaviour management
:

Ensure all tasks delegated by the teacher are carried out in a positive manner
:

Must have had previous experience of working in a classroom setting
:

Holding a level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification or above, would be beneficial, but not essential
:

Be willing to participate in lunch-time cover
:

-
Any experience of running your own interventions is advantageous.

Please Note:

You Either need a DBS on the Update Service or a DBS ran via ourselves for us to be able to place you at a school.
