Your New Role
The mission for the Partnerships team at Warner Bros.
Discovery is to maximise the revenue we deliver to the business by monetising every consumer interaction with our brands and content across all touchpoints.
From linear TV, Discovery+ and across web and social.Our unique content strategy of super-serving passionate superfans of documentaries, reality, sport, home and food alongside entertainment pillars across reality, kids and films enables us to do this by helping brands to build meaningful interactions with highly engaged audiences.
We are currently looking for a Senior Partnerships Exec for Brand Partnerships.In this role you will deliver multi-platform creative solutions working with media agencies, clients and our third-party ad sales partners.
You'll use your ability to build and maintain strong relationships and deliver on our deals, maximising growth both externally and internally.
Your Role Accountabilities
- Working closely with Snr Sales Manager on the agency and client strategy to maximise revenue across all WBD IP and platforms from UK agencies and brands for the brand partnerships business
- Collaborating with peers in the local Digital, UK International and wider International sales team to ensure that all communication with key agencies and brands is aligned and optimised
- Owning relationships with an allocated portfolio of UK media agencies identifying relevant contacts, maintaining regular dialogue and ensuring awareness and understanding of WBD brand and product is high
- Regular meetings with agencies and clients to obtain briefs and insights on the key accounts they manage and presenting to them on the Discovery portfolio
- Being responsible for negotiating and closing cross platform deals with agencies
- Working closely with the other members of the team to identify sponsorship opportunities and create sales collateral, with an emphasis on creativity and innovation
- Maintaining strong interdepartmental relationships throughout WBD and building internal relationships including Marketing, Creative, Insight, Programming, Inventory Management and Compliance
Qualifications & Experience
- Relevant level experience within Media or Broadcast: in Media Agencies, clientside or media owner
- Confident in dealing with people of all levels, from Assistant to MD
- Able to establish and maintain influential relationships, especially with Media Agencies
- Great presentation skills alongside strong numeric skills
- Knowledge of the Media industry at large
- Has courage and applies a revolutionary and entrepreneurial spirit
- Enjoys building and maintaining relationships, internally and externally
- Has great passion, clearly loves the business, lives the brand and does what it takes to get results
