Position:
MARKETING ASSISTANT (part time - permanent position).


Location:
Head Office, Hallaton Street, Leicester, LE2 8QY


Hybrid working (2-day home/ 2 days office) will be considered once effectively working independently

Reporting to:
Jo Mason - Group Marketing Manager


Hours: 4 days per week - Monday to Thursday

30 hours per week. 7.5 hours a day, plus 30 minutes for lunch

Start 08:30a.m, finish 4:30 p.m. The hours may increase over time in line with the changing demands of the business.

Context:


Purpose:


Responsible for assisting the Marketing Manager to deliver the strategy for the group by delivering the marketing plan to raise the profile of the Pantherella International Group and its brands.


Need to Achieve:


Key Outputs

  • Exhibitions coordinate and manage preparation for trade shows (approx per year)
  • Exhibition administration booking, insurance, invites, copy & imagery
  • Create and present schedule to MM with key dates & keep updated


  • Show Samples

  • Coordinate all samples to be ready for Shows
  • Administer Show stock and ensure stock is in current packaging and update where necessary
  • Liaise with stand builder where required
  • Show images taken and filed
  • Assist with events and show set up where required
  • Brochures coordinate and manage preparation for brochures/ flyers & price lists (24 per year)
  • Collate data from design
  • Create run list & schedule leg shot photography with the ecommerce team
  • Assist with collation of information for brochures / leaflets ensuring accuracy is demonstrated
  • Work with sales & merchandising to collate the HJ mailing list and send to print house
  • Share imagery with PR Agency
  • Show room set up and maintenance
  • Photoshoots coordinate and assist with preparation for photoshoots (24 per year)
  • Plan and assist with research / Mood boards
  • Organising and booking administration
  • Maintain & Label wardrobe for shots / Pack up for location (HJ)
  • Order and returns (HJ)
  • Shoot assistant as required on set


  • Imagery

  • Maintaining marketing database of images and files
  • Gallery to be kept up to date with new products and seasonal launches
  • Dropbox Organised
  • Work with MM on images and branding around the site
  • Ensure that the boardroom is fully stocked and updated seasonally
  • Staff board to be kept updated / Manage internal shoot
  • Photography assistant for internal content shots & leg shots


  • PR / Social

  • Assist external agency with requests and information
  • Sample requests from agency
  • Press release brief details & images to agency


  • Social Media

  • Research & assist the Social Media & Marketing Executive with content for social
  • TRADE Marketing & POS
  • Monitoring POS materials & assist with trade requests
  • Own and Update Marketing bible for all brands
  • Administer stock control & replenishment
  • Research any new POS / trade marketing required
  • Research competitor trade marketing
  • Internal Communications
  • Collect content for internal newsletter
  • Join & be part of the social committee
  • Look after & update the notice boards
  • Create Posters for internal social events & launches
  • Other
  • Liaising with external design agency
  • Market research pricing / competitors
  • Assist with social event organising & sales conferences as required
  • Assist with samples / set up for Line Launches

Key Relationships

  • Support the Marketing Manager & Social Media & Marketing Executive
  • Liaise and network with a range of stakeholders to manage and produce marketing materials
  • Work with the ecommerce team & Social Media Marketing Executive on images, video, and content
  • Support the wider sales teams at exhibitions and events where required
  • Build relationships internally supporting the family vision, mission, and values

Knowledge, skills and experience:


Qualifications

  • Ideally 1 years' experience in a marketing, administration or sales related role.
  • Marketing Qualification (i.e. CIM) or working towards one is desirable.
  • A level / Degree (such as Marketing, English, Psychology, Social Sciences, or a creative degree) is desirable.
  • Must be educated to GCSE level.

Experience, Skills & Knowledge

  • Knowledge of the retail sector with emphasis on fashion and accessories
  • Canva/Photoshop/Adobe Suite, design and editing skills advantageous
  • Interest in fashion & Keen social media follower

Salary and benefits

  • DOE, but starting at £16,255 (£20,183 FTE). Salaries are paid monthly on the 15th day of each month
