For our UK division we are looking for a
Head of Supply Chain , who will be responsible for ensuring best in class service and operational excellence is achieved across a diverse customer portfolio.


As a key member of the Senior Leadership team, this role will require an agile approach, working on both day-to-day and strategic initiatives.

You will be responsible developing and executing the Group strategy within your team, identifying and proposing continuous improvement opportunities and ensuring efficiency throughout the operational process.


As an experienced Supply Chain Manager, you will develop contacts with customer counterparts, to understand the their strategies and how to align with these.


You will have a team reporting to you, with responsibility for their development, empowering and leading them to take ownership and deliver your vision for the Supply Chain function.


KEY RESPONSABILITIES
Full end to end responsibility of the Supply Chain operation

Manage, motivate and lead the Supply Chain team

Ensure alignment between the Supply Chain department and Production,

Demand Planning and Commercial teams

To be the main contact for logistics operators, working proactively to anticipate incidents and provide solutions ahead of time

Work on forecasts and inventories, keeping an accurate record of the processand analysing performance to manage costs, while maintaining quality

To provide best in class service to our client portfolio, providing them with vision,

solutions, and information in a timely manner

Make recommendations to the Group business on strategic and operational improvements for margin or growth, new markets and enabling technology


QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
Previous experience working in a senior Supply Chain position and as part of a Senior Leadership team

A strong working knowledge of Excel and Power Point

Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment

Project management skills, focusing on continuous improvement

Self-motivated with a proactive approach to leadership and a passion for developing others

Flexible and adaptable, with the ability to manage change

Excellent planning skills

Stakeholder management experience

Strong communication and presentation skills
