  • We are currently recruiting for an exciting opportunity to join out team in Warrington. The Production Supervisor will manage the day to day running of production to meet internal and external customer expectations and demand.
  • Key responsibilities:
  • Oversee production activities to meet customer requirements and be responsible for day to day running of production.
  • Ensure quality, health & safety and environmental standards are implemented, promoted, refreshed and adhered to.
  • Responsible for all production troubleshooting, quality and efficiency matters.
  • Ensure customer requirements are fully understood and communicated in an effective manner.
  • Manage resources by recruiting, appraising, training and developing personal growth opportunities.
  • Manage, support and development of workshop section leaders.
  • Empower staff to perform at optimum levels by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, and analysis of output.
  • Responsible for production budget monitoring and execution.
  • Ensure operation of equipment is monitored, maintained and new equipment evaluated.
  • Manage, improve and optimise operational flow of the assembly areas to ensure the highest level of productivity and quality output.
  • Strive for continual improvement within the shopfloor and assembly areas along with reviewing and improvement processes and procedures.
  • Knowledge/Skills required:
  • 35 years experience within a team leader or equivalent role
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Strong verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Excellent time management
  • Detail oriented
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities with deadlines
  • Optimistic in highstress situations
  • Experience of lean manufacturing principles
  • Ability to ready and interpret engineering drawings
  • Experience of using SAP systems
