Welford Healthcare currently have 13 care homes and a support office function.

Since 2020 we have seen our portfolio of homes grow from 4 to 13 and have a planned expansion program.

We are looking for a hard-working, determined and enthusiastic individual to support the Financial Controller in administering and controlling the Groups accounts payable and receivable functions


Duties will include:

Accounts Payable:


  • Monitor and administer "Paper to Data" (P2D), invoice approval process.
  • Check postings into Sage Intacct.
  • Ensure all invoices are processed on a timely basis.
  • Supplier reconciliations.
  • Assist on the weekly supplier payment runs.

Accounts Receivable:


  • Maintain Residents on Access "Peopleplanner".
  • Maintain, run and post in Sage Intacct weekly Residents invoice runs.
  • Reconcile Residents account on discharge.

Ad hoc:


  • Assist on maintaining Team Members in Peopleplanner.
  • Any other finance duties and project work as and when they arise.

Skills and Experience

  • Experience of working in the care sector would be advantageous
  • Knowledge of Microsoft product, excel, word and power point.
  • Experience of using an ERP accounting systems, ideally Sage but not essential
  • Numerate, accurate and ability to work under pressure.
  • Ability to work on your own and take direction as required.
  • Work as a Team member and assist in covering other areas within the busy Finance Team as required
