About the role

Our Industrial Commercial Team are looking for an enthusiastic, proactive and self-motivated individual to join the team as the Commercial Pricing Specialist.

Playing a key part within the team you will contribute to the ongoing commercial development of the business, working closely with the Sales team to provide insight on our commercial business decisions.

Reporting to the Commercial Pricing Manager you will work on tender activity and support our key account leads on customer specific activities.

You'll assist on daily price quoting activities, using a consistent commercial approach that supports both volume and margin growth. You'll collate quotation feedback and help to provide insightful information that will drive pricing levels and market understanding.

We are looking for someone who is organised with a good eye for detail, to ensure our pricing lists, costing documents and customer quotes are all accurate and updated as needed.

This role is a central part of our team and deals with lots of different information, so making this simple and accessible for stakeholders will be part of the day-to-day tasks and being comfortable using Excel to manipulate data will be hugely beneficial

We can offer hybrid working with this position, with the primary location for the role being our Sheet Plant site in Redditch._

About you- Experience of processing orders/ quotes- Good level of literacy and numeracy- Knowledge and understanding of commercial awareness- Strong IT skills, especially in Excel and Word- An understanding of pricing systems- Good attention to detail- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment (preferably manufacturing)- A team player with excellent communication skills, able to engage with both finance and non-finance stakeholders.
