Room Leader
To Work
Full Time,
Monday - Friday (40 Hours) per week.


The nursery follows the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) with a focus on learning through play and actively encourages parents to become involved.

We offer full time and part time places for children aged between 0 and 5 years and form strong partnerships with parents.

Responsibilities:


Your responsibilities as
Room Leader will include:

« Promoting positive relationships with parents, children and colleagues

« Ensuring health, safety and wellbeing of the children at all times

« Company policies, procedures and operational practices are adhered to at all times

« Delivery of EYFS, planning and observations of all children


Qualifications/Experience:

« Level 3 in Childcare or equivalent

« Leadership and management experience, in a childcare setting.

« Experience of working in a senior role within a nursery setting or centre working with children aged 0 to 5 years and their families.

« Leading a staff team, including supervision, work allocation, assessment or training and professional development.

« A thorough knowledge and understanding of the EYFS, Ofsted requirements and relevant current legislation.

« Understanding of child protection processes, safeguarding and working with vulnerable children.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for the organisation, management and care of the establishment. To provide high quality, flexible childcare for families from the local communities.

To oversee the operation of the day nursery to the highest standards, ensuring that the best possible environment and care are provided for young children.

To lead a team of professionals providing a stable and supportive atmosphere for families using the nursery.

Your responsibilities as Nursery EYFS Lead will include:
« Promoting positive relationships with parents, children and colleagues

« Ensuring health, safety and wellbeing of the children at all times

« To be responsible for, and to oversee the day-to-day management, staffing, organisation and smooth co-ordination of the running of the nursery; responsible for overall planning & structuring of staff duties and responsibilities.

« To demonstrate effective time and resource management to meet the planned needs of children and families and any anticipated demands that might be reasonably foreseen.

« To liaise with management, social services, and other professionals as necessary
