AMS SURVEYS

A modern yet traditional, ambitious and well-established AMS SURVEYS is a small RICS Chartered Building Surveying practice, but big enough to provide a wide variety of surveys and projects.

The right surveyor should be looking for interesting work and keen to develop themselves as well as the firm. Opportunities for growth and seniority, as the business grows as well as developing specialist niches.

Ideally based in Merseyside or the surrounding area, Cheshire, Preston, or Manchester, as you'll be based out of the office but have the opportunity to work hybrid.

ESSENTIAL

Must be MRICS or FRICS
Qualified as a Chartered Building Surveyor
Residential Building and Defect Surveys
Proven Building Defect knowledge, should include (but not be limited to) damp investigations and structural defects, you should be able to investigate, advise, report and specify remedial work.
Architectural Design and Conversant with AutoCAD or similar
Able to produce specifications for refurbishment projects alike
Experience in Project Management of projects from £50k to £1m

DESIRABLE

RICS Home Survey level 13 experience
Registered Valuation Status
Commercial and/or Heritage experience.
2+ years PQE
3D Laser scanning and 3D Modelling
Party Wall Act and Party Wall Surveyor Experience
Expert Witness Experience

YOU

You must possess a strong work ethic with the ability to manage your own workload and have an excellent comprehension of report writing and technical competence in order to review other surveyors' work and sign off if not the author.
