The Mechanical Integrity Specialist is a key member of AGT productdevelopment projects; their work is essential in achieving the levels ofdurability and safety that our customers expect in our products.

Day-to-day activities include creation of analytical models usingbespoke and commercial software, interpreting the solved models to supportunderstanding of our product attributes to then be used in enhancing productperformance or resolving product issues.

You will actively contribute in groupforums to develop working practices and tactics to overcome analytical andprogram challenges, together with technical specialists from other disciplines.

HowYou'll Make an Impact

You will study backgroundanalytical work to help the team decide on how to approach problems
You will use yourexpertise to guide our design and manufacturing specialists in how to supportcomponent manufacture and engine overhaul activities
You will use yourexperience to develop other people in the mechanical integrity group
Where possible you willlook for opportunities to build on prior knowledge when generating solutions
You will be an advisorto Product managers in understanding technical risk levels in the fleet
You will be part of the rootcause analysis team for components that you specialise in
You will help othersthrough detailed technical audits of models, stress analyses and lifing reports

What You Bring

You have a Bachelor's orMaster's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
You are excited abouthow analytical models can be created to further our understanding of how loadsare distributed in components
You enjoy being part ofthe creation of engineering solutions
You are motivated by beingpart of a multidisciplinary analytical team
You are interested ingas turbine technology and how it can be developed to remain a relevanttechnology through the energy transition
