Description

We are working with a top tier client who are seeking a Lead Auditor to join their team based in the West Midlands area on Construction/Civil Engineering projects.

You will be responsible for conducting Internal Audits and reporting the HSEQ team.

Responsibilities:

Conduct audits of company procedures in accordance with the Annual Audit Schedule
Conduct audits with external Supply Chain partners
Provide advice and mentoring support to site teams during internal audits to raise standards and understand IMS requirements and adoption
Advise site teams on closing nonconformances, follow up audit responses and ensure effective review and closure
Attend monthly HSEQ Audit Meetings with the CFO, Director for HSEQ, Engineering Director and the HSEQ Systems and Audit Manager
Support the HSEQ Systems and Audit Manager with external audits where required

What do we need from you?

Lead Auditor Qualification with at least 5 years experience preferably in the Construction Sector
Working knowledge of ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 and 5000
High standard of written English
CSCS card
NEBOSH desireable
IEMA desireable

The salary is indicative and based on experience.
