Social creative writer / Copywriter

Slough, England, United Kingdom (Hybrid)


ROLE MISSION


Working in partnership with our client, the Social creative writer / Copywriter will join our small bespoke team to work solo and collaboratively on projects ranging from always on social campaigns, TikTok and Instagram campaigns, and educational content on social media platforms, reactive/cultural work and longer form digital content.


THIS ROLE IS RIGHT FOR YOU IF...

  • Strong experience concepting and writing for Social. Must be comfortable across all platforms and be up to date withbestinclasss digital work.
  • A background in social and digital creative
  • A thorough understanding of the language and needs inherent to writing for social.
  • Experience of publishing through social media channels and content management systems
  • A powerful grasp of how content can play out across multiple mediums
  • Able to use data and insight to inform creative
  • A flair for communicating with Gen Z
  • High level conceptual ability. Experience working as part of a traditional creative team (designer and copywriter) would be helpful
  • Demonstrated ability to combine and translate complex material from different sources and contexts into stories and content that engage and resonate with target audiences
  • Confident presenting and communicating clearly to other team members and clients

ABOUT THE TEAM YOU WILL BE JOINING
You will work in the marketing team. The team of 8 will work across the following;

  • Strategy social & content
  • Creative, copywriting & design
  • Editorial & publishing, distribution
  • Content production & post
  • Data & analytics
  • Community management
  • Online content management
  • Paid & optimisation

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING IN YOUR ROLE

  • Write, research and conceptualise creative, innovative content that brings readership and encourages sharing
  • Repurpose existing content for different uses
  • Work closely with clients to create strong concepts from initial briefing through to execution
  • Set tone and drive creativity, working closely with the Account Director and Data Strategists to ensure creative excellence
  • Maintain a high awareness of relevant trending topics and news to identify content opportunities
  • Be responsible for working with internal teams to gather input and validate the content
  • Ensure consistency and quality across all written content
  • Present and articulate concepts to clients.

WHAT SKILLS WILL HELP YOU BE SUCCESSFUL

  • There is a real desire from our clients to create talkable work that will make them famous
  • Absolute knowledge of all major social media platforms is a must as well as an understanding and desire to tailor creative ideas for them.
  • You'll ideally be from a digital/social/integrated agency background. The role is fast paced and responsive, working across multiple different projects and clients within the group.
  • Most important, this role requires a courteous, positive and highenergy individual with great people skills. We value hard work, and we want to have fun doing it.
