We are looking to recruit a Band 5 Data Quality Lead to join our Team.


Working within the Access Team, the Data Quality Lead will provide a pivotal role in supporting the Trust with the development of effective and efficient data quality processes.

, supporting the development, review and updating of current data quality policies and reports, and coordinating and overseeing data quality improvement activities across the Trust.

You'll provide expertise to support achieve good quality data across the Trust, with the principal aim of improving services and outcomes for the people who use Trust services.

You will provide expertise to support achievement of good quality data across the Trust, with the principal aim of improving services and outcomes for the people who use Trust services

  • Take a structured and systematic approach to investigate the Trust's Data Quality, identifying areas of concern and opportunity.
  • Work in close partnership with the Head of Access, Operational and Support Services colleagues to identify data quality issues and design and deliver improvement initiatives which incorporate and support broader Trust and service objectives.
  • To work closely with key stakeholders across the Trust, taking a collaborative approach to addressing data quality issues and therefore ensuring that data produced meets the needs of teams and services.
  • To work in collaboration with the RTT Auditor and Trainer, to analyse and identify opportunities to improve data quality, using appropriate reporting and trend analysis.
  • Design and lead data quality related training to clinical and non-clinical teams.
  • Present planned and completed data quality improvements to a variety of audiences, ensuring a benefit focus of positively impacting patients and staff.
  • In collaboration with the Business Intelligence Team, help provide knowledge of the root cause of Data Quality issues to be corrected to ensure the data that is provided internally and externally is complete, timely and accurate.
  • Design and carry out audits to test Data Quality.
  • Provide expertise in Data Quality best practice management and solutions across the Trust.
  • Regularly review and update the Trust's data quality audit programme to ensure this remains robust and adapts to changing priorities or situations.
