Senior Product Line Manager Luton £ Highly Competitive Salary & Package

Progressive Engineering and a Global Engineering & Manufacturing Company are currently recruiting for a Senior Product Line Manager on a staff basis for their Engineering & Manufacturing HQ in the Luton area (Hertfordshire), owing to succession planningwithin the business.

Reporting into the UK Managing Director,the
Senior Product Line Managerwill be instrumental in the**:


  • Definition and Delivery of Product Management Strategy:

Commercial Profitability and business growth, through market expansion and defence in the UK, Europe & Global:


  • New Product Development & Introduction (Commercial, Technical & Marketing):
-
Development & Succession Planning of Product Management Team


The Senior Product Line Manager will be responsible for the definition, executive & delivery of Product & Market Business Strategy (Pricing Strategy, Margins, Route to Market, Channel Selection, Competitor Analysis & Market Defence etc), as well the leadership,management and development of the Product Management Team.


For the Senior Product Line Manager role, my client is looking a Senior Product Line Manager with the following:

  • Ideally holds degree in Engineering or Business Discipline (Mechanical Engineering; Business Administration, MBA etc)
  • Previous Internal Sales / Product Management experience, with responsibilities including Pricing Strategy, Margins, Route to Market, Channel Selection, Competitor Analysis & Market Defence
  • Previous P&L Responsibility & Reporting (including Business Reporting, Metrics, Deliverables & KPI's)
  • Successful trackrecording in driving & delivering profitable growth in new / existing markets through Internal Sales / Product Management functional
  • Proven People Management experience (Leading, Managing, Mentoring, Coaching, Developing AND Retaining Teams of Product Managers)
  • Proven Product Management experience within an Engineering / Manufacturing / Production / Assembly / Engineered-Product environment.
