Description
Flexible hours with ongoing work available for an experienced Care Assistant based in Derby.


This care home is situated in Alvaston and is home for up to 40 residents, some of which suffer from dementia.

The care home is very accommodating and gives off a homely feel making the resident settle in well.

You will ensure that all residents are listened too, and each have their own personalised care plans to follow.

Some other duties will include;

  • Observing the residents and their conditions
  • Showering/ strip washing and bed bathing the service users.
  • Conducting moving and handling tasks including the use of Hoists and walking/mobility aids
  • Serving meals
  • Recording fluid intakes

Experience & Qualifications:

To demonstrate your experience and suitability for the role of a Care Assistant you will need:

  • An Enhanced DBS dated within the last 12 months
  • Up to date Infection Control, Safeguarding Vulnerable Adults and Moving & Handling training
  • A Referenceable work history
  • At least 3 months experience within a similar setting


If you do not have a valid DBS and/or training, do not worry as we can help you with this.
