Trainee Recruitment Consultant

Who will you be working for?

What is a recruitment consultant?

A recruitment consultant's roles and responsibilities include:

  • Booking/conducting interviews.
  • Giving and receiving feedback from both clients and job applicants.
  • Formatting of CVs to present to clients.
  • Advertising of vacancies.
  • Checking of ID and eligibility to work in the UK.
  • Account management of existing clients.
  • Working towards key performance indicator (KPI) targets.

Essential Criteria


You will have experience of working to a high standard within an administration function, with knowledge of delivering general office-based tasks and responsibilities, holding a high standard of accuracy and attention to detail.


It is essential that you have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be highly proficient in Microsoft office packages, particularly Outlook and Word.

It would also be ideal, but not essential if you have any experience of using CRM packages.

You will also need experience of dealing sensitively and appropriately with confidential information.
