    About Us

    We are committed to tackling poverty and disadvantage in communities across England, providing essential support through mental health, drug and alcohol, housing, and related services.

    Our team of over 3,500 dedicated staff and volunteers deliver care to around 125,000 individuals each year, operating from almost 200 service locations throughout the country.

    The Role

    This position is a vital part of our service, focusing on:

    • Welcoming Clients: Providing a warm and inclusive meet-and-greet experience for visitors attending STARS.
    • Internal Communications: Responding to internal phone calls and maintaining effective communication channels.
    • Resource Management: Ensuring that necessary materials, such as leaflets and resources, are replenished and readily available.
    • Display and Presentation: Creating and maintaining visually appealing displays in waiting areas and rooms.
    • Administrative Support: Copying and printing resources as needed to support colleagues.

    Service Provision

    The service offers a comprehensive range of support, including:

    • Physical, Emotional, and Mental Health Support: Addressing various needs through individualized care plans.
    • Needle Syringe Programmes: Providing safe access to harm reduction services.
    • Recovery and Detox Programmes: Supporting clients through the recovery process.
    • Therapy and Counseling: Offering one-to-one and group therapy sessions.
    • Social Activities: Organizing engaging activities to promote social connections and well-being.
    • Education, Training, and Employment Opportunities: Enabling clients to acquire new skills and pursue their goals.
