An opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic and motivated CCAB Qualified Accountant to join the finance team at CLCH.

The roll is hands on, and we are looking for someone who is self-motivated and pro-active. The post holder is required to have excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Responsibility for the management of the financial accounts department.

The management of team members involved in all aspects of financial accounting. The post holder will be supported by an experienced Team.

To deputise for the Head of Financial Control.


Primary responsibility for the management of the financial accounts department and the management of team members involved in all aspects of financial accounting including capital accounting and treasury management.

Responsibility for the production of the Trust's charitable funds Accounts and submission of returns to the Charity Commission. Overseeing all charitable funds financial transactions and processes.


Support the Head of Financial Control with the production of the annual accounts and report, monthly monitoring returns and board reports, ensuring the completeness of audit working papers supporting the annual accounts and report.

Leading on certain tasks including the intra-government agreement of balances exercise and the Remuneration and Staff report.


Responsible for the ongoing development and implementation of policies and procedures which impacts across the Finance function and the Trusts as a whole, and which also ensure CLCH meets its statutory requirements.


Responsibility for managing and ensuring the integrity of the general ledger and associated feeder systems in accordance with the Trusts' Standing Financial Instructions and internal office procedures.
