Broxap is a family owned engineering business based in Newcastle under Lyme, Staffordshire, established in 1946. We are amongst the market leaders in the design and manufacture of street furniture, shelters and covered walkways.We are currently recruiting for a Product Assembler to work within our manufacturing facility.
As a Product Assembler you would be working with an established team within the Products Finishing area to assemble litter bins, street furniture and shelters.
The duties of the Product Assembler would include:
- Receiving product from the powder coating line.
- Using hand tools and power tools to complete assembly tasks of products including litter bins, plants, seating and benches.
- Ensuring that all finished items are of the highest quality before packing for despatch.
- Following safety protocol and maintaining a safe working environment.
Essential skills:
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Motivated and organised.
- Good numeracy skills for measuring, accurately counting product for despatch etc.
Desirable:
- Fork Lift Truck licence.
- Experience working in a production assembly line.
Working Arrangement:
- Monday to Thursday 7:30am to 4:30pm, Friday 7.30am to 1.30pm additional hours as may be required
- 25 days holiday entitlement plus 8 bank holidays

From £11.55 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
