Job purpose
Cleaning school premises in Bootle

The school is is looking to recruit a permanent experienced Cleaner to be part of our hardworking team, ensuring the school building is cleaned daily to a high standard ready for our children to learn.

The ideal person will:

The current rate of pay is £11.91 p/h

Due to the nature of work the above post is exempt from the provisions of the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974 and relevant care/safeguarding legislation and appointment will only be confirmed if a satisfactory Enhanced Disclosure is obtained form the Disclosure \& Barring Service.

The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people and expects all staff to share this commitment.

Main Responsibilities

Cleaning all areas of school premises to a high standard including staff and pupil areas.
To communicate regularly with your line manager on progress, issues or with queries.

DBS check will be required - cost met by employer

Minimum Qualifications - no formal qualifications are required but a knowledge of Manual Handling, CosHH will be an advantage.

You should take pride in your work and like a job done well

Previous cleaning experience preferred.

14.75 hours p/w 3.15pm - 5.15pm Monday to Thursday - Friday - 6
