Description

Crunch free developer, Warp Digital are looking for a Level Designer to join their team and work across two titles, a casual adventure platformer and a horror strategy title giving you plenty of variety in your role.

As a Level Designer, you will make a significant contribution to the game, taking levels from initial design, working with your senior and leads, to develop levels right through to a playable final product.

Surrounded by a team of experienced industry veterans, you'll benefit from their guidance and support as you progress your design work across the studio's two projects.

Your responsibilities

Ensure that levels are wellbalanced, engaging, and meet the overall creative vision of the project
Take a handson approach to designing, creating and fine tuning game levels in engine
Collaborate closely with the Code and Art teams to swiftly conceptualise, develop, and refine game levels.
Continuously improve game quality, player engagement, balance, and overall experience by regularly playtesting and incorporating feedback
Stay up to date with latest industry trends and best practices for level design

The skills and experience you'll bring to the role

3 or more years professional experience in a Level Design role
Experience working with Unity and/or Unreal Engine
Able to selfmanage and meet deadlines, working independently but also as part of a team
A basic understanding of 3D art and art packages
Excellent communication skills in English
