We are recruiting staff to work at our One Stop Convenience Store to assist with food preparation and store sales.

Previous customer service skills and food handling experience are preferred, although full training will be given.

Duties will include, greet and serve guests, prepare sandwiches or salads, maintain food safety standards, operate computerised tills and handle cash.

As part of our team, you'll be responsible for delivering excellent customer service to all our customers


Food preparation

  • Cooking food from our hot food to go breakfast menu.
  • Cooking a variety of pies and pasties.
  • Preparing a variety of sandwiches and baguettes.
  • Making sure the store is clean, tidy and ready for service, washing up, sweeping and mopping floors.
  • Ensuring 5* food hygiene standards are upheld.
  • Providing a friendly, efficient food service.
  • Assisting with food preparation.

Sales Assistant

  • Great customer service skills
  • Sells and serves baked goods and miscellaneous food items to customers.
  • Love working in retail
  • Accurately rings sales orders into the cash register.
  • A confident communicator with excellent organisational and problem solving skills and a real 'can do' attitude
  • Honest, Hardworking and reliable
  • Experience would be beneficial
  • Flexible and adaptable
  • Understand the wide range of products that we sell
  • Enjoy talking to all different types of people
  • Working on the till processing purchases, following cash handling protocols.
  • Restocking the area, ensuring stock is plentiful and displayed attractively.
  • Working independently and as part of a team.
  • Accepting and checking off deliveries from our suppliers and putting these away

This is a multi disciplined role will only suit those who can stay calm and level-headed and those who enjoy doing multiple tasks rather than having set stations.


Answers telephone in a courteous and friendly manner including, but not limited to, giving store greeting, directions to store location, and receiving and filling customer orders.
