Description

Please refer to job description for a full list of duties but main responsibilities will be: Working unsupervised according to SOP's to ensure that patients receive the appropriate medication in a timely manner Having a conceptual and actual knowledge and understanding of pharmacy supply systems in relation to day-to-day practice.

Using judgements within boundaries of own remit and training, to ensure the correct supply of medications. Dealing with queries/problems and liaise with Pharmacy Technician/Pharmacist, dispensary or stores when required. Supervising work of Pharmacy Assistants and assist with prioritising workflow Training and development of other staff, maintaining quality and standards by contributing to the development and implementation of new services, processes and procedures
