NCG is a successful provider of summer courses for teenagers , and we are excited to be returning in 2023 with schools in Portsmouth and Manchester.

We are currently recruiting dynamic, enthusiastic and flexible, residential Activity Leaders for our Manchester school. The school runs from 1 July to 13 August and we offer flexible 2-6 week contracts.

Salary £492 per week including holiday pay + free accommodation and meals

The social programme is an integral part of the summer school experience and we deliver interesting, fun and stimulating activities for our students, while keeping in mind that student safety is paramount.

You will prepare, participate in and lead excursions as well as onsite activities such as sports and games, movie nights, quizzes and fashion shows.

You will also be required to undertake pastoral and supervisory duties.

Requirements:

No formal qualifications required, but enthusiasm and a can-do attitude essential

Experience of working with children/teenagers essential, preferably in a summer school setting

Native level proficiency in English

Ability to communicate effectively with students using an appropriate level of language and to maintain a friendly but professional relationship with them

Ability to lead sessions in sports and drama, as well as offsite excursions.

Good communication and time management skills

First aid certificate/sports coaching qualification desirable

New College Group is accredited by the British Council

All applicants must be eligible to work in the UK.
