Laser Operator

There are 3 roles for this position:

  • 1 x 6am
  • 2pm
  • 1 x 2pm 10pm
  • 1 x 10pm 6am


We have an exciting opportunity to join an expanding metal processing business located on the Walker Steel Industrial Estate, Blackburn.

You will be joining an experienced team who have a proven track record of delivering challenging and complexed engineered parts into the Nuclear, Offshore and Aerospace sectors across the UK


With recent investments of new machinery and new warehousing facilities due to continued growth - you'll be joining the business in an exciting period of it's history.


What you'll be doing straight away
From the moment you join the business, you'll be hands on within the operations team working under the Works Manager


Key responsibilities will be:

  • Operating and setting laser cutting machinery
  • Reading engineering drawings
  • Forklift and overhead crane use
  • Working as part of a team to meet KPI's
With joining a fast growing organisation, there will be opportunity to continue to grow and develop within the operations team so there is no ceiling to your future potential

Full training and development opportunities are on offer but experience working on Laser cutting machinery would be highly advantageous
