As a Senior Shift Operations Technician at SUEZ recycling and recovery UK, you'll be contributing to an ever growing established recycling and recovery company that's helping customers reduce their impact on the environment, conserve natural resources andreduce landfill.

What will I be doing?
You'll be responsible for one (or several) of the key lines at our Energy from Waste plant. That means you'll continuously monitor, control, adjust and troubleshoot this line/s and the processes involved.

The aim is to maximise availability and efficiency,while ensuring everything works in a safe, environmentally compliant way, according to regulations.

Day-to-day, you'll keep logs, flag up and deal with problems, operate the waste cranes and take samples. You'll also deputise for the Shift Manager, which willgive you the chance to enhance your skills, managing plant operations.


What are the requirements?

Additional beneficial experience includes managing SSOW (safe systems of work), working with boilers, incinerators, high voltage switchgear and ideally be / have been a fire marshal with First Aid training.

From start through to completion of your trainingprogramme, you'll be a valuable member of the site team.
