Finance Business Partner required to join leading business based in South East Essex.

This is a newly created add value role focusing on driving profitable growth and ensuring the long-term financial success of the organization.

Whilst reporting onto the Head of Commercial Finance you key accountabilities and duties will include:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute financial strategies that support the company's overall goals and objectives.
  • To maintain full, accurate and timely data sets on the commercial performance of the business in order to be able to respond swiftly and correctly to ad hoc requests for information.
  • Mine data sources and look for trends, variances and any other relevant information.
  • Develop and maintain financial models to evaluate business opportunities, including new routes, acquisitions, and partnerships.
  • Communicate findings to the Senior Management Team.
  • Liaising with the Senior Management Team to understand their requirements and develop the reporting to meet these needs.
  • Monitor the competitive landscape, brief management of major airline and network intelligence, identify opportunities for growth, and develop proposals for exploitation.
  • Work closely with the marketing team, where appropriate, on campaigns and other activity related to aviation business development.
  • Working with colleagues in IT, to develop Management Information Systems capable of providing immediate and simple access to commercial data
  • Provide financial analysis and insights to support pricing decisions, contract negotiations, and costsaving initiatives.
  • Support the financial planning and forecasting processes, including budget preparation and variance analysis.
  • Conduct regular financial performance reviews and present findings to senior management.
  • Lead the development of robust financial reporting and analysis tools to enhance decisionmaking capabilities.
  • Monitor and manage financial risks and recommend appropriate strategies to mitigate them.
  • Support the preparation and evaluation of business cases for capital expenditure projects and investments.
