We are seeking a Trainee Customer Consultant to continue with our delivery of excellent customer service.

Our Customer Experience Team builds and retains long-term relationships with customers and provides a seamless journey that is defined and led by the customer.

Through this excellent customer experience, customers will keep coming back to us while spreading the good news about their experience.


As a Trainee Customer Consultant, you are key to the team's success in delivering that experience through every step of our customer's journey.

Our One Team approach ensures that we all meet their needs and wishes from the purchase of a new or used vehicle or through the life of the vehicle's requirements, offering total customer ownership.

You will complete the Toyota Academy programme which is unique to this position.

T
he key responsibilities of this are:


  • Participating fully in all scheduled activities including the sessions at the Academy. Keeping all your learning logs up to date and ensuring that you are prepared for your learning reviews with your manager and mentor
  • Ensuring we provide the highest level of customer care and satisfaction at all times, giving the customer the best possible experience but working together as a strong team
  • Listening to customers to build rapport
  • Assisting with general showroom activities, keeping data up to date, managing phone calls and social media queries
  • Welcoming and greeting all customers (sales and aftersales) to the Centre and ensuring their experience is second to none
  • Qualifying the desires and wishes of the customer and guide them in the right direction
  • Assisting the customer with understanding our unique in-car technology

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Curious and willingness to learn and develop and keep up to date with complex information
  • Strong communication skills and enjoys listening and engaging with other people
  • Enjoys working to and motivated to achieve challenging targets
  • Able to take initiative and ownership of issues; is proactive, has a 'can-do' attitude
  • Able to work independently; able to multi-task and switch quickly between tasks
  • Strong organisational and prioritisation skills
  • You are a team player who is comfortable learning from and working with others to help and support them.
  • You must have a UK driving licence
  • Eligible to work in the UK.
  • Flexible to work hours required to carry out the role effectively
  • This role requires you to be professional, have a smart personal appearance and have high standards of verbal and written communication
  • Great collaborator while being dependable, positive and passionate
