We are currently recruiting for numerous Direct Tax Advisors to join our friendly team based in Market Drayton or East Kilbride due to expansion of the businesses, but within a hynrid working environment.

to support the Direct Tax team dealing with various direct tax compliance matters, taking responsibility for the preparation of direct tax documentation for senior review.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Preparation of annual corporation tax computations for all allocated entities for Senior review.
  • Preparation of annual current and deferred tax provisioning and supporting disclosures required for UK and group financial reporting for all allocated entities for senior review.
  • Monitor changes to legislation affecting Direct Taxes and keep the team abreast of ongoing developments.
  • To prepare various cross border transaction direct compliance reports relating to the UK group.
  • To be responsible for all administration aspects and calculation of quarterly instalment payments for all entities which are not in the group payment arrangement.

Education

  • Technical College Degree

Essential Skills

  • 23 years' experience within a Tax environment
  • Excellent working knowledge of Word and excel
  • Good understanding of CT return process / CT Legislation

Desirable Skills

  • ATT or CTA/CA newly qualified

  • Hands on attitude
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Be able to prioritise and work to tight deadlines
  • Drive and Enthusiasm
  • Flexible, responsive and resourceful when reacting to changing work demands.
