Fully trained NHS Pension Staff are a rare commodity, so this vital role offers an exciting opportunity for you to enhance your knowledge on the complexities of NHS Pensions.
You will work as a member of a team but must be able to work using your own initiative and have a willingness to embrace new technologies and change.
As a pensions officer you will be responsible in providing pension services for several clients covering all aspects of pension administration.
As a large, shared service provider this opportunity will allow you to grow and expand your pension knowledge to further enhance your pension career.
As a senior member of the ELFS pension team, you will manage a designed workload, working in collaboration with the pension teams to ensure the delivery of the organisation's contractual commitments to promised quality/timescales and in line with professional standards, national policy and frameworks for Pensions services.
Strong communication and organisational skills alongside strong knowledge of Pension legislation preferably within an NHS or local government setting are key to this role.

The post is based at Viscount House, Commercial Road, Darwen, just off junction 4 of the M65. We operate hybrid working giving you the flexibility to work from home as well as in the office.
You will be providing assistance with the accurate administration of the NHS Pension Scheme, alternative pension schemes for all members of the Trust and Client Organisations adhering to NHS Pensions Agency Regulations.
