Electrical Improver / mate


Location:
Peterborough

Rate is £15 - £18 per hour

Term:
Long term temporary contract until at least the end of 2023.

Teleios Recruitment are currently working alongside one of the Midlands leading M&E companies who provide high quality electrical, fire & Security building services for commercial and industrial business nationwide.

Due to an exciting new contract, they are on the lookout for electrical improver, mate / labourers to join their team.

Working on a large packaging plant as part of the factory fit out.


Roles & Responsibilities

• Carry out electrical installation works
• Containment, wiring and terminating on an upgrade refurbishment
• Electrical repairs and maintenance
• Fire alarm and emergency lighting work
• Ensuring safe working practices complying with H&S and Environmental legislation
• Working flexibly and when needed outside normal working hours

About you

• Highly motivated and proactive
• Previous experience as an electrician's mate
• Previous experience working in industrial and commercial installations including all aspects of wiring and containment systems
• Ability to complete tasks in an accurate and timely manner when working under pressure
• Ability to work as part of a team
• Good written and verbal communication skills

Skills & Qualifications

• ECS card
• Ideally 2 years' experience working within the electrical sector
• IPAF/PASMA desirable but not essential
• Full UK Driving Licence

Job Types:
Full-time, Temporary contract

Contract length: 10 months


Salary:
£15.00-£18.00 per hour


Schedule:

• 8 hour shift
• Monday to Friday
