About the Company:


The Greyclyde / Abbeytown Group is a family-owned development / Investment group, that has been operating for over 50 years and delivers on multiple residential projects each year, these include both new builds sites and upward extensions, as well as renovationsand refurbishments, producing units.

We generally operate as the principal contractor retaining a small direct workforce. We have excellent relationships with a number of trusted long standing sub-contractors and professionals.


We are now looking to recruit an experienced Site Manager who has the intelligence, drive and appetite to progress their career further taking on more responsibility.


The Role:

The role will be based on different sites primarily across North London but occasionally might require travel further afield.

Monday to Friday, 7.30am to 4.30pm.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Liaison with Design Team.
  • Ensure compliance with all Health and Safety requirements.
  • Liaison and supervision of all subcontract trades.
  • Manage all site activities to ensure compliance with safety, good practice and Employer requirements are adhered to, along with ensuring that programme and budget requirements are met.
  • Ensure drawings and specifications are being worked to and that standards of work comply with Building Control and NHBC requirements.
  • Prepare programmes, budgets and all other paperwork as required.
  • Provide high level customer service and cooperation with Sales Staff and other Staff Members from within the Group or otherwise engaged.

Requirements:


  • NVQ to appropriate level.
  • Valid CSCS card at appropriate skill level.
  • First Aid training.
  • GCSE's
  • Holding or working towards a Formal Building or Civil Engineering qualification would be an advantage.
  • Fire Warden and Temporary Works Supervisory training would be advantageous.
  • A full clean driving license.
  • Excellent communication and problemsolving skills
