The Role

Key Responsibilities/Tasks:
(Duties include but are not limited to the following)

  • Provide client service support at client facing desks at King Street for Bid/ Registration and Payments tasks
  • Provide assistance with Front of House administrative tasks at King Street including, but not limited to, FOH area management, liaising with Security, IT and Facilities
  • Provide client service support for all Evening Sales and appropriate Events
  • Assist in gathering and recording Client Comments
  • Process catalogue orders in person and on telephone
  • Provide support to telephone bidding, and Christie's LIVE clerking
  • Strong awareness of overall business activities and ability to communicate relevant information
  • Other duties as assigned by Manager
  • Educated to degree standard or with comparable working experience in client service
  • Ability to reflect the image and standards of Christie's in all situations in accordance with Client Service Standards
  • Ability to work with clients in person and remotely
  • Ability to work professionally and responsibly with all other areas within the business
  • Ability to work well as a team and promote team effectiveness
  • High degree of organization with ability to multitask, prioritize, and follow up promptly
  • Willingness to accept assignments with positive attitude
  • Desire to learn and take on new challenges
  • Excellent verbal and written presentation skills
  • Commitment to regular and punctual attendance
  • Flexible working hours when required, including evening and weekend sale coverage
  • Excellent general IT skills and ability to learn all Christie's systems
  • Fluency in a European language is desired
