Project Coordinator - Centre for Perioperative Care (CPOC)

£33,200 - £35,400 per annum

Hybrid Working - Remote / London

Permanent, Full Time


We have an opportunity for a Project Coordinator to join our team to coordinate the work-streams, projects and outputs of the Centre for Perioperative Care (CPOC), including management of boards, committees, stakeholders, projects and communication channels.

This role is dedicated to CPOC and is the main point of contact into the Centre.

You will act as the principal lead for the delivery of the curriculum project in conjunction with the CPOC Education Lead, ensuring all HEE, Centre for Advancing Practice andGeneral Medical Council requirements are met.


Managing the delivery of the project in its entirety, you will work with the CPOC team and stakeholders to ensure the project is well planned and executed.

You will also lead in the development and annual update of CPOC guidelines including document production,maintaining version control, proofreading and publication.


You will serve as secretary for all relevant Committees and working parties including preparing agendas and papers; advising on items; minute taking and developing and undertaking action points.


In addition, you will act as first port of call for all queries, co-manage the inbox and organise all CPOC-delivered events at regional and national level.


We are looking for a strong Coordinator with:

  • Experience of project managing a project or programme of work
  • Experience of handling administrative work of a considerable variety and volume and prioritising successfully under pressure
  • Experience of organising national meetings/events
  • Experienceof dealing professionally with a variety of internal and external stakeholders
  • Experience of committee management and servicing
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • The ability to form good working relationship at all levels
  • The abilityto balance and manage a high workload with multiple workstreams, projects, committees and tasks
