GENERAL ASSISTANT/KITCHEN ASSISTANT - Perm Part Time

Do you have a passion for the catering industry, have the right attitude and are willing to learn? We are recruiting for an experienced kitchen assistant to join our chef manager & the team with everyday school catering.

We currently have 1 permanent part time vacancy at
St Matthews school SE3 0XX - for an experienced kitchen assistant that can only work part time hours due to personal commitments.

Working term time

- up to 12 weeks holiday

Monday to Friday day time hours

- £11.44 per hour about £821.00 per month if you complete a full year

Part time 20 hours per week.

The catering assistant cleans kitchens, taking care of all aspects of hygiene as well as helping to prepare food and serve the students
Assist in the kitchen and to be responsible for hygiene and cleanliness within food preparation areas.
Catering assistants are also responsible for carrying out basic food preparation tasks, such as washing and peeling food.
You will also assist in organizing the store room
