  • YOUR ROLEOur Showfreight team based in Birmingham, the awardwinning specialist logistics service for the exhibition and wider events sector, are excited to have a fantastic position available for a Senior Exhibitions Coordinator to join their teamWHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?Reporting into Account Manager, you will coordinate logistics services through the movement of freight to and from exhibitions in the UK and Worldwide. You will be responsible for advising and arranging customs documentation, ensuring shipments are invoiced within the given period, supplier invoices are passed for payment and ensuring all administrative procedures are inline with company policies.
  • You will take on new bookings and work closely with clients to understand and fulfil requirements. You will issue management, resolution, and setting up and running events whilst managing the onsite team ensuring everything runs smoothly.
  • You will maintain a close working partnership with both the customer and senior operational management teams whilst leading and coordinating designated UK based events and exhibitions.
  • Due to the nature of this role, there will be the need for flexibility as travel across the UK will be a key requirement.
  • This role is Monday to Friday (08:00 to 16:30) however, flexibility is needed to work weekends on occasions where you will be given time off in lieu.

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?We are looking for an enthusiastic and energetic individual who has demonstrable experience working within the events and exhibitions sector or freight forwarding experience.

You will be an exceptional communicator who can build long lasting relationships, be a natural problem solver and have a flare for leadership.

As mentioned above, it's critical that the role holder is flexible and willing to travel and stay away from home to fully support with their shows and exhibitions.
