About Our Client:


A great opportunity for an
Assistant Merchandiser Womenswear to join a brand that is growing in the Hussle & bustle of Manchester.

The brand is driving by catwalk trends, influencer & celeb style. Designed in house, the brand is distributed globally from Denim to knitwear to everything in between.

  • Updating the critical path & communicating all key information across internal & external teams
  • Working collaboratively with the relevant Assistant Buyer
  • Proposing actions in a timely manner / raising concerns to management where needed to maximise sales
  • Developing excellent working relationships with all key stakeholders across Buying, Merchandising, Marketing, Finance, Shipping and ecommerce.
  • Understanding route to market and how to maximise sales
  • Responsible for all purchase orders, general administration
  • Amending, rephasing, managing delays & cancellations and communicating changes to the relevant teams
  • General housekeeping of all orders on the system
  • Ensuring accuracy of orders raised by pulling off weekly reports and reviewing
  • Monitoring sales closely and proposing replens / pricing actions & site remerch to maximise performance where needed
  • Overall responsibility for sizing on site and ensuring this is checked for availability and replened where needed
  • Understanding and monitoring closely the slow sellers & returns by and proposing ways to reduce this where possible.
  • Building reports tailored to the business for replens, repricing, stock management & strategies
  • Contributing ideas and solutions which you believe may have commercial gain
  • Analysis
  • Takes full responsibility of weekly trade pack driving out clear weekly trade actions
  • Pull off weekly, monthly & yearly sales / stk analysis
  • Ad hoc analysis when needed (margins, profit, cover, sell through)
  • Responsible for identifying and resolving data inaccuracies.
  • Identify best practice and ways of working.
  • Suggest improvements to processes and procedure

The Successful Applicant:


  • Previous proven experience as a high achieving Senior Merchandising Admin Assistant, Assistant Merchandiser or similar


  • PC literate

  • Intermediate / Advanced Excel, Word, Powerpoint, Outlook
  • Excellent commercial awareness
  • High standard of numerical and analytical ability
  • Ability to communicate effectively at all levels, including executive board level
  • Proactive with a practical approach to problem solving
  • Deputise in Merchandisers absence.
