Classroom Assistant required to provide 1-2-1 support for a Key Stage 2 child with Autism and additional learning needs.

Are you a Classroom Assistant or Teaching Assistant with experience supporting children with Autism? Are you looking for a nurturing, supportive and vibrant setting in which to work? This lovely SEN school are looking to add a Classroom Assistant to the team to provide support withing Key Stage 2.


As a Classroom Assistant / Teaching Assistant you will be working alongside an experienced, caring and dedicated teacher who wants to make their classroom a warm and nurturing environment.

You will be joining a team of Classroom Assistants who work closely together to ensure that each child is given the appropriate support.

This fantastic school has a reputation for helping children thrive in and out of the classroom. This role requires a Level 3 Teaching Assistant or Classroom Assistant qualification and experience supporting children with Autism.
Assistant qualification is desirable.

Job Role:

  • Supporting Key Stage 2 children on a 121 basis
  • Working as a Teaching Assistant / Classroom Assistant
  • Supporting the class teacher and delivering group activities
  • Making learning fun, engaging and interactive
  • Helping students to reengage with education
