MUST BE BASED IN N.IRELAND Must be eligible for JOBSTART Scheme**We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as a Trainee Engineer / metal work. This entry-level position offers a unique opportunity for recent graduates or individuals with limited experience to gain hands-on training and practical knowledge in mechanical engineering within a supportive and collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities include:

Assist senior engineers in designing, developing, and testing mechanical systems and components.
Participate in the creation and modification of engineering designs using CAD software.
Contribute to the planning and execution of experiments and tests to evaluate the performance of mechanical systems.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
Support the documentation and reporting of project progress and findings.
Take initiative in identifying areas for improvement and proposing solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Work closely with other engineers in a very hands-on workshop environment where you will actively participate in building, producing, and refurbishing a wide range of industrial products.
Working with metal, both welding and fabricating for the production of products.

Qualifications & Experience:

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related field, preferred
Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SolidWorks) preferred.
Qualifications and / or experience in Welding preferred
Qualification and / or experience in metal fabrication preferred
Experience gained in an industrial / workshop environment preferred
