£28,000 + study package - ACCA or CIMA paid for

Netbox recruitment ltd are working exclusively to recruit for an Assistant Management Accountant to support the Finance Director and Management accountant with the accounts for 4 limited companies with a collective turnover of £16million.

This company are independently owned and there is a real family feel to the team.

They are growing and need a assistant management accountant to join the Finance team and grow with the company - full study package is on offer.

So if you would like to complete CIMA this would be expected within this role.

Great opportunity for someone who is AAT qualified with accounting experience who is looking to take on a role within a successful SME based in Edenbridge.

Reporting to an engaging, supportive and professional Financial Controller you will be required to provide effective financial support in the day to day helping to generate the accurate production of monthly management accounts and financial reporting on a timely basis.

This role will encompass Management Accounts, reports, asset register, KPI reporting, VAT returns, balance sheet recs and assisting with year end.

Skills and experience:

Previous experience with Management accounts or Assistant Accountant
Sound experience and knowledge of basic and advanced accounting & financial principles and practices
Strong attention to detail with a well organised approach
Comfortable working with and without supervision, knowing the right time to seek advice and ask questions
Good working knowledge of financial software, ideally Sage 200
Excellent knowledge of using Microsoft Office programs with strong skills in the use of Excel
An analytical mind with excellent communication and presentation skills
An engaging, friendly and approachable personality, who can influence successfully at all levels within the company
A handson individual who can adapt and process change
