About the role

This role is ideal for someone who has the passion for working with vulnerable and complex young people in the homeless sector in Rotherham.

The post requires you to work as part of a team to provide support to young people aged 16-25 years living in both emergency/dispersed accommodation and in their own tenancy.

You will be playing a vital role in helping these young people flourish and move on to independent living.

The project worker will manage a caseload of young people to build relationships, identify needs and risks, write support plans, and deliver life skills sessions and set goals and targets for the young person.

You will encourage young people to develop skills which will enable them to resettle into the wider community and sustain settled accommodation.

Working collaboratively, you will undertake multi-agency work to support young people, helping them to access other services in line with their needs and goals for the future.

The role is based in a 24/ 7 support services working on a rota basis this includes evening and weekends as required on the rota.

The role will require some bank holiday working.
